What one free application can reach

University tuition, visa charges, tests, translations, insurance and travel costs may still apply. They go to universities, governments and providers, not to PolyGrants. A cost is a PolyGrants fee only when we clearly name it as one.

Is creating a PolyGrants account free?
Yes. Applying is 100% free: creating your account, submitting your application and receiving answers cost nothing. You pay one fee only if we get you a positive answer and you decide to accept it.
How much is the PolyGrants fee?
Between USD 85 and USD 300. The exact amount depends on the destination country, the programme level, whether the response is a scholarship or an admission, and the services included. It is always shown to you before you decide.
When exactly do I pay?
Only if you decide to accept an offer. Reading your answers costs nothing, and saying no costs nothing. From the moment a response is published you have five working days (Saturdays and Sundays not counted) to accept and pay; if the window closes, the offer simply expires and you owe nothing. Once you accept and pay, the fee cannot be refunded. You can pay by mobile money, bank transfer or in person at a partner office.
What counts as a positive response?
A positive response is a documented education opportunity received from an institution, for example an admission offer or a scholarship decision. It may be conditional or unconditional, and you review its full conditions before deciding whether to continue.
Who can apply?
Anyone, from any country. Age limits are 21 for Bachelor's, 30 for Master's and 35 for PhD applications; a few opportunities remain open above these ages, some to any age. Applicants aged 16 or 17 need parental consent, and no language certificate is required to apply.
Where can PolyGrants send me?
Current destinations: France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Türkiye, China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Taiwan, Canada and Brazil. South Africa is temporarily suspended.
Does a positive response guarantee a visa?
No. Visa decisions are made by the relevant authorities. PolyGrants prepares your visa file with you, checks it against the requirements of the country you are going to and submits nothing that is incomplete, but no service can guarantee a visa outcome.
Why is South Africa currently unavailable?
Due to the sociopolitical situation in South Africa, we have temporarily suspended student sending there. We are monitoring the situation and will reopen the destination when conditions allow.
