Apply for this roleAbout the role
Local Representatives are how PolyGrants stays close to students. You present the service in schools, universities and communities, answer first questions honestly, and help applicants complete their PolyGrants application correctly.
We are currently recruiting representatives in the Republic of Congo, DR Congo, Cameroon, Senegal, Mali, Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, Gabon and the Central African Republic. One representative covers one city or region. The role is full-time and salaried.
What you will do
- Present PolyGrants accurately to students, families and institutions, never promising what we cannot promise.
- Guide applicants through creating their account and completing their application.
- Help collect and check application documents before submission.
- Stay in contact with your applicants and escalate questions to advisers.
- Report activity and local feedback to the PolyGrants team.
What we look for
- Based in one of the listed countries, with a strong local network (school, university or community).
- Fluent French or English; local languages are a strong plus.
- Honest, organised and reachable: students will depend on you.
- Comfortable with smartphones and web applications.
- Experience in education, counselling or community work is a plus, not a requirement.
What we offer
- A full-time salary, agreed openly before you start and paid on a fixed date each month.
- Training on the PolyGrants process, tools and ethical guidelines.
- Official PolyGrants representative status and materials.
- A direct line to the adviser team for your applicants.
- A path to country-coordinator roles as your region grows.
